JOHN B. HONEYCUTT, JR.

 John B. Honeycutt represents business interests, corporations, banks, and other commercial enterprises in a wide variety of legal matters, covering business formation, business organization and management, daily internal and external operations, business mergers, sale of assets, risk control and risk management, dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and contract review, preparation, analysis, and enforcement.

His representation of lenders includes workouts and commercial foreclosures, civil and criminal fraud investigations, and defense of lender liability actions.  John B. Honeycutt has served as lead counsel in complex, multi-party commercial litigation, and regularly consults with corporate clients in matters pertaining to business formation, licensing, governance, management, and operations issues.

STEPHEN M. HONEYCUTT

Stephen M. Honeycutt grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was an Honors Scholar at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in English.  Stephen received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012. He was a member of the School of Law's Mock Trial Team, travelling to compete in the AAJ National Student Trial Advocacy Competition in Montgomery, Alabama, and the National White Collar Crime Invitational in Washington, DC.  After competing on the Mock Trial Team for a year, Stephen was selected to be a student coach for the Team.  He lead two teams to the AAJ Regional Student Trial Advocacy Competition hosted by the University of Alabama School of Law. Both teams under his leadership posted winning records of 2-1.  As a law student, Stephen received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest overall class grade in both Civil Procedure II and Sentencing and Correctional Law. 

Stephen's pre-graduation work experience includes part-time work as a law clerk for the Honeycutt Law Firm, PLLC, as well as a clerkship at the Solicitor's Office for the 11th Judicial Circuit for the State of South Carolina. Presently, Stephen is engaged in the representation of business interests, corporations, banks, and other commercial enterprises. His areas of practice include new business formation and operations, contract law, commercial litigation, and creditor enforcement of asset-based loans and commercial obligations.
